Studio Trip

Two weeks ago I went into the studio with a few images in mind. While, only three worked out the way I envisioned them, I was pleased with the work I made towards building a more commercial portfolio.

This first image referrences a concert. I wanted the lighting to be dramatic and remind the viewer of being a concert where the star makes a super dramatic entrance, lights dark, barely seeing the sillohoutte, fans screaming.



I also just wanted a good multiple light shot. Granted, my model is just a friend that volunteered to go to the studio with me, so the lighting is what matters!




And my favorite, even though I neglected to refocus.

Welcome

Welcome to my new blog. I wanted to have a space that was more inclusive with my photography and my life. I feel that this space will allow me to present myself better than websites like facebook and myspace ever could. I hope to post my results from upcoming shoots, shows, and my progress as an artist. I'll keep this brief, so that I can actually generate a post that includes pictures!
